Hillary's made 2 statements that I've heard about sharing the ticket with Obama. To my knowledge, I haven't heard it from Obama. On excite.com, a quote: "Clinton said: 'I've had people say, 'Well, I wish I could vote for both of you.' Well, that might be possible some day. But first I need your vote on Tuesday.' "
What is this about? Serious consideration? I doubt they could get along together, who ever is on top. An invitation to Obama while she's succeeding, knowing she's probably going to lose, so that he'll consider her? Or a ploy to invite people on the fence to swing to her side? Hmmmm...

I would think it would be awfully difficult to be Hillary's VP with Bill lurking (none too quietly) in the wings. Although it would probably take someone with Obama's charisma to pull it off. I wish they'd quit fighting. Someone should send them to bed without supper.

So many people want the two on a ticket that each would do well to hint about the other as a running mate. It sounds like Hillary is now doing just that.
it's a smart move on hill's part -- acting like she's the front-runner, that obama is the junior partner already, even if she's behind.
given her comments that john mccain would be a better candidate than obama on security, that obama is not a muslim "as far as i know," and that "if you don't vote for me, your children are gonna die" commercial, i don't know if obama would be so amenable to running with her.
and as a poster above says, why would you be vp when bill is going to be co-president?
Which could be another issue - could Bill run as a VP? (Not that it would happen, but interesting nonetheless) Or is that not allowed once someone is president x 8 years?

I agree with Stephen's first comment. I really think that when it comes down to it, they both want a democrat in office that they'll go for it. For now, it seems to me they are fighting for whose names goes first on the ballot.

I can't see them together at all. I don't know. First is the Background Bill factor. And second is they're both minorities. I'm sorry to say this, but I don't think people are ready to have both a black man and a woman on the same ticket. It's too much change too quickly. I think. What do I know? :-)
