Writer's Prompt

Highlights for Children Magazine has their annual writing contest coming up. Submissions can be made in the month of January '08. Whether you are a children's writer or not, your job is to write a fictional story, no more than 800 words of a story set in the future. No crime, violence, or derogatory humor. If you like what you wrote, you can submit it to be one of the 3 potential winners of $1,000 & also are automatically put under consideration for future publications.
